5787 Molad & Kiddush Levana Chart

Notes: Molad times are listed in the traditional Yerushalayim time convention, as announced in shul on Shabbos Mevorchim. Kiddush Levana times are based on the Molad. First night (72h) is 72 hours after the Molad (the majority of Acharonim; Mishnah Berurah 426:20), using the first nighttime opportunity when that boundary falls during the day. Some have the custom to wait until seven days after the Molad (Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim 426:4). First Motzei Shabbos is the common practice; in Tishrei it is said after Yom Kippur, and in Av after Tisha B'Av. Final (Rama/Maharil) is the midpoint between consecutive Molads (Maharil; Rema, Orach Chaim 426:3). The 15th: the Biur Halacha permits relying on the later view of 15 full days after the Molad if the earlier time was missed; that time is not listed here (see levana.cloud). Friday nights and Yom Tov nights: Kiddush Levana is not said then except in extenuating circumstances, such as when it is the final opportunity (Mishnah Berurah 426:12).
